    Forgot about Abe.

I don't remember that. Clay respected Dave, though. I'm sure he knew he had to lose a couple here and there, but it had to be to the right GM.

Yep. That's when I stopped thinking he was cheating. I was crushed after he killed Wallace.

Closest thing I ever had to a complete rebuild.

            Smartest man in the room.

I think his "reloading" was also driven cuz people stopped making mega deals with him. His team was in financial abyss and was trapped. Then the editing got flagrant.(Even tinkered an extension with Daly) Almost like a serial rapist wanting to be caught.

Lol. I wish I kept some of the "deals" in PM he proposed.

              THEY WERE HILARIOUS.

Personally I think it started with him due to a major injury in 1989 and he saw he took a hit probably when he came back in 1990. Once he edited him, it just became too tempting.

Not sure how Los Alamos was allowed to win in '93. That is my proudest accomplishment.

                  Only accomplishment?

                          One thing about Pancho...

Entering the draft my scout, who was rated as high as possible at scouting amateur pitchers, had him 8-8-8. I know he edited the injury rating but Pancho would have been something special on any team.

I actually think Virginia would of won 2 maybe 3 titles in the 90's to go along with perhaps as many as 5 IL flags with some luck. Pretty dam good. Lets face it, Virginia was bad for most of the 80's. Now 7 titles in 9 seasons and players running at a high level well into they're mid 30's???? Don't think so.

Sorry, there some pretty smart owners in the IL.(Not Jistic) I see how hard it is just to win one. The insult I think many of us felt was how he almost flaunted his greatness.
