SIMs are fast with no trades. Brad is out of town the upcoming week so I'll be running the Mon-Wed SIMs. I'm not sure how it will work with my schedule but it should be sometime in the AM hopefully.

We went 7-0! In a good spot with the Wild Card race. Still eight and a half games behind Pawtucket in the Ale.

      Sorry, Delandis.

          Pawtucket 3-3.

For the life of us we can't figure out Toronto. It's an annoying power hitting team that confuses our bullpen

Otherwise no injuries and we move on.

As anticipated, the three-game series with Windy City was a battle. All games decided by one run: L 2-3, W 2-1, L 4-5. I'm not surprised. It doesn't matter the records, the year, regular season or post-season, these teams battle. What was a bit of a surprise was the showing against Carolina, taking two of three: W 5-3, W 14-8, L 6-8. I could have used some of those runs in the previous series...but I'll take it.

In transaction news both SP Todd Romans and SP BJ Carpenter got claimed by the Pittsburgh Millers. I feared they would both be claimed but they just weren't getting it done and I need to find someone who can round out the rotation. That trade of a future 3rd for Carpenter looks pretty bad now but I decided it was time to cut my loss. His 1.72 was astronomical for an groundball pitcher with my solid defense.

The Bats now sit in the #2 Wild Card spot, .5 games above Baltimore and 2 games above Batavia. Both teams had injuries this week. Sorry Delandis. This is the worst injury riddled season we have seen in the BLB.

If Delandis sneaks in the playoffs should be an automatic GM of the year honor. So many injuries (and bad injuries)

I'm kind of surprised Batavia hasn't taken control. On paper they still formidable, but yet statistically they feel like a stagnant team. Strange.

It's so strange statistically seeing Pawtucket as a "pitching" team.

Complete change from the 90s Pawtucket teams.

                    I agree.

I feel like I'm making a sneaky case for the award. I've made a bunch of acquisitions this season that have worked out remarkably well.

                          Campaigning already?

Pretty sure Sully is going to run away with it this year.

For thinking out of the box in hiring that witch doctor to keep Schubert healthy?
