    Thanks Matt

Not a good time for the bullpen to implode, Davenport and Carolina tied atop.

3-1 over those hated Philly Freedom!

We're now 10-3 for the month...or double the wins we had in June.

Aten got shelled in his Maine debut. That's too bad. We split a four-game set at Hartford. I'll take it.

Vejar came in and gave us four scoreless innings.

Celedon started his second stint with the Guides by going 1 for 15. Ouch.

On a 6-31 slide. That's impressive with some of the talent we actually have.

I always forget to reset my rotation during this sim. Oh well. Still 3-1. We actually gained ground on Dallas.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Two sims ago I altered my lineup so that my older A players were called up to AA.
No changes in the system though.

I'll start fresh tonight and hopefully it'll work for the 2nd.

This was set up to be such a great sim....The IL wins the All-Star game 4-3 in DC with Bats reps DJ Nelson and Danny Romero combining for 6 hits, 3 RBI and 1 run...A four-game series in that same ballpark vs. the Seattle Reign...and we go 1-3. Nice.

After being sent to the bullpen to work on his control, SP Tyler Salzman was given his first start since 6/3/11 and he responded with his best this season. In the 2-1 W: 8 IP, 6 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 K. It's only one game but with a rotation that ranks 9th in the IL in ERA, this is hopefully a sign of things to come. Lost two one run games, each by the bullpen. The bullpen ERA is still #1 in the league but they take home two loses on a short week.

DC is now .5 games back of Baltimore for the #2 WC spot.

A good week for the Brawlers going 3-1 against Carolina. Had some late inning heroics as we tied up one game with a 2 run 9th and won it in 11 and then light hitting Shane Bell gets a home run in the 9th to win another. Sometimes the Baseball Gods just smile on you.

Henne is starting to find it. Just in time for us to play our way out of a top 10 pick.

All of you guys underperforming are making it difficult for us rebuilders to not pull an FC.

                              I'm looking at you Jistic.
