    LMAO!!

    http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/..._box_1016.html

Our pitching is so bad that OF Jamie Sheppard came in for relief and quickly broke a record for walking 9 guys in 3.2 innings.

To say Morgantown is having pitching issues would be an understatement.

Special Notes: SP Heriberto Melendez was injured while pitching. MR Tyler Tammaro was injured while running the bases. Jamie Sheppard ties the Morgantown Mohawks regular season game record for walks with 9.

Pawtucket 5-1. Swept Maine and took 3 of 4 at Hartford.

Have some small goals in the 2nd half. Like to see Tony Cavazos get it together in the 2nd half, like to see the back of the pen play better. Overall a few more homeruns would be nice.

Down on the farm hoping 'Beanpole's pending injury is minor. Luckily he's still very young.

              Nothing more to say really.

Steve Suarez is the most durable player I've ever had, consistently playing 150-160 games ... until this year, in which he's been injured twice.

Need to figure out what to do in his absence.

                2-4 week. Not too hot.

                We're still exploring trade opportunities.

I keep losing ground. I expect it with a 3-3 sim but even if I went 4-2, I would have lost ground.

Saw that news blip. What a career out of that guy. 2000 hits out of a great IF defender is a great get from a 3rd pick.

SP Jarrod Nygaard made the Allstar team along with SP Talley. (Think he gets it) RF Morales and C Piekarski as expected joined them.

The trade early last season for SP Jarrod Nygaard & CF Sonny Mason in one swing probably goes down as one of the most important deals with Pawtucket 3.0. Very rare giving up a top #20 prospect and a number 6 pick in the draft is beneficial both short or long term to a team.

Well done Nygaard. Mason got fucked, but he has been slumping as of late. Oh well, still plenty time for him to make an allstar team once or twice before his career ends.

                            3-4.

Lost a couple of close ones to Davenport. Despite having no top prospects, I'm very happy with some of the performances I'm seeing in the minors. Our minors have been so bereft of talent for so long it's nice to see encouraging performances from our draftees and late signings.

5-1 week; 1-1 @ DVS, 4-0 @ Morgantown. Split the series with the Scorpions in two nail bitters then the bats came alive against the Mohawks. W 23-3, 10-3, 9-5, 8-5. It doesn't matter who I have on the mound if we are going to score like that.

In the news: Alex Otero of the Washington Bats will be sidelined for about 2 weeks. Team officials report that he was injured when he fell down the stairs while sleepwalking and suffered a strained back muscle. In his stats this season, Otero has posted a batting average of .280 with 78 hits in 279 at-bats, 3 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has also scored 39 runs, walked 28 times and compiled a .360 OBP.
