We went 5-1. Hope in Denver!

Things happened in the BLB level. Good for them.

Colin Cash will go to rehab so we can be sure he's fit to play until he gets hurt again.

Zach Potter is dealing in AAA. He has usually started slow at a new level but this time started rolling from go.

Manny Reyna, our first round pick this year, had two bullpen appearances before we could arrange our staff. This time he started a game and struck out 14 in 7 innings. Go Reyna! I see a lot of potential in that kid.

Ah, another 2-4 week for the Mohawks.
Winslow continues to suck at the plate and in the field. That dude really took me. Had a great contract year, sparking me to extend him, and now he's getting fat on his career-ending contract.

I'd like to say I'll punish him by trading him Poop Island, but then I realize that's my address.

Despite the woes of Morgantown, I cannot express how much fun I'm having in this league.
      Thanks to everyone involved.

On a side note, wanted to ask a quick question.
Norm Lucy has some upside and I noticed that despite having decent ratings, he sucks in A-ball.
But then I also realized that he's been stuck in A-ball for 3 full seasons already.
So, despite having terrible numbers, I decide to promote him to AA-ball where he's appeared in 4.1 innings, allowing only 3 hits, 1 BB and no runs.

This might be a silly question, but does the program account for stagnation?
By moving him up to AA, could his improved outlook on life help him improve his game?

2-4 sim: 2-1 @ Los Alamos, 0-3 @ Davenport. Not surprised by the outcome. We are better than the Amigos and we are worse than the Brawlers. Washington is now 7.5 back in the Stout, 5 games back in the Wild Card and 3 games under .500 for the year.

One positive in Washington is the transition of Tyler Salzman from SP to MR. In 11 games as a starter: 1-6, 6.46 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, 33 BB to 30 K. Out of option years and not wanting to lose him through waivers, he was moved to RP: 8 games, 12.2 IP, SV, 0.71 ERA and .79 WHIP, 1 BB to 13 K. It's a small sample size but the improvement, especially BB:K is impressive. He adds even more depth to the leagues best bullpen (2.70 ERA), far surpassing the 2nd best bullpen in Pittsburgh (3.21 ERA). The weakness continues to be the starting rotation which now ranks 9th in the IL with a 4.67 ERA.

This. I was at work reading the game logs at work and my heart dropped when I saw him get replaced at 1B.

                      Start trimming them down.

                      We'll go with Tuesday.

There's still time for him to pull a Fujii and go 1 for 39 for the next two weeks.
