Draft goes in next SIM. Due to the utility issues we're behind schedule. Let's get the draft wrapped so the next SIM can happen on time, if we can.

6-0 week, not bad. My defense will kill me at playoff time though.

4-2 at Davenport and Los Alamos. Villarroel is raking. Pitching has been better. Stinger has been exactly what we had hoped, 0 runs in 9 appearances thus far with 8 saves. Lead up to 7.

            Pawtucket 4-2.

Swept California at home (Sort of expected), then lost 2 of 3 to Philly (Fully expected) Still, we are slowly building a decent lead heading into mid June so guess thats good. If we ever do get on some kind of a roll on the road we could blow this thing wide open, but until we do this feels like some retro version of Pawtucket 90's style.

            - LF Tony Cavazos back this week. The over under for him getting hurt next is July 1st. Since he's been gone it appears we started diving on the road. Who knows, maybe he gives us a boost?

            - Well after winning the Pale Ale award, SP Filipe Vega is pulling an Ruben Aparicio on us. I wonder if this kid grasps the fact a certain highly rated prospect is just DYING for his roster spot. Don't test me punk.

Road trip finishes in Batavia where sometimes we play good there, sometimes not and back at home where we welcome Baltimore!

Congrats to Maine 1B Wessin Ramirez on hanging around long enough to get to 350 career HRs! Old favorite Freedom player of mine.

                  Game 2: W 10-4 (12) @ NY - Antonio Cardenas game-tying HR in 9th, 2 outs
                  Game 3: W 5-3 @ NY - Antonio Cardenas GW HR in the 8th

Manager pinch hit for Al Anguiano in the 7th inning of our tilt against MAI on 06/09 . . .he was riding a 24 game hitting streak at the time. Can't really fault him in hindsight since Taylor Bell hit a pinch hit, 2 run HR in a game we won 4-3. Still, sucks for Anguiano to lose his hitting streak without getting the full complement of ABs to try to extend. He did go ahead and get hits in each of the next 3 games.

If Goto gets into a groove our offense goes from being pretty good, to exceptional. Good to have him back off the DL and to see him have a productive week (PotW honors).

Well, damn. We go home and start off well by taking 2 of 3 against Windy City. But we get swept, and pretty much abused, by Carolina so that makes it all for nothing.

                        2-4. 7 games back. 34-30.

                        Just keep playing.

Glad I gave him another week to get there.

Neubauer no-hit California, but we still went 2-4 for the week.

                              Eckstein? Not too bad.

DeBenedetti hurts more. He was doing a good job against lefties. I can't win with this guy. He either sucks bad for me for years or gets hurt when he's finally producing in Denver.
