Unknown when the next SIM will be. We've PM'd Andrew and the creator of StatsLab to see if they have any ideas. There was no upload or anything so we suspect it has something to do with the host of the site changing something.

Unfortunately the draft goes in next SIM so we can't advance until it's done. Even if we get the utility back up I don't see us being done by Monday, so get your exports in but be prepared for a delay.

2-4 on the road at Pittsburgh and Pawtucket. Probably to be expected, though I hoped for a stronger performance. We have a couple weeks of IL play coming up.

Fernando Hernandez was named DL Pitcher of the Month for May. Remarkably it's only his fifth time winning the monthly award.

Wessin Ramirez has two hits in his first 37 plate appearances in Maine. Yeah ... not sure this one is gonna work out.

        Thanks Matt.

Another winning sim. Back to .500 after digging a hole early. If I could find some SP value I thought was worth it, I'd push for the WC, but, we may end up being able to move some pieces instead.

Pawtucket 3-3. We eeked ahead 5 games considering how much we reeled against Dallas and Hartford guess we'll take it.

We gained a top player this week. Not happy. Our Japanese owner insist company before employee. Morales is being selfish.

Player development: SP Troy Donavon , dumb , lazy and very fat took a velocity bump , now a 6-6-5 and my scout now thinks "top of a rotation starter. Worst case #2." Goes to show sometimes you need to look past character.

I like where we're at even if we're maddening inconsistent. Need Tony Cavazos back and STILL what's up with our road record? We figure out the road woes and we should be ok.

4-2 sim; 2-1 @ Morgantown, 2-1 @ Death Valley to finish out May above .500 (14-13). The two losses were by starting pitchers who will be removed from the rotation in Dave Ferneyhough and Tyler Salzman. The Bats are now in 3rd place in the Stout, seven games back of the division and 7.5 of a Wild Card.

4-2 wtf. JP comes back this week but we still suck. Might still blow it up might not. Keep sending those offers, I can be bought

The logic is baffling: "trade a potential HOF reliever, win 4 of 6."

Those four wins didn't have anything to do with your bullpen though:

                  10-1
                  7-2
                  7-2
                  11-0

I hear you. My point is; with a top relief pitcher, we went 7-20 in the month of may.

We traded him, we went 4 and 2. It's just strange.

3-3 but Dallas goes 4-2 and we drop to 4.5 back.

Lost 2 of 3 to Toronto. Took 2 of the first 3 against New York (with a game left on Monday).

Haven't looked at all of the stats but Angelo Sanchez did well in another start.

He also picked up some stuff potential. Whaaa?! He's 35. But we had a very good development report including some signals that Weitz should return even better after surgery.

Crook did his job and I'm hoping with wins I can get him to not test free agency.

It's the anti-tank code we have written into the BLB. Happens all the time. A team will sell a handful of their best players at the trade deadline and the team will respond with their first .500+ month of the year.

The only team to crack the code has been Funclown.

I'm just throwing this out there, pulling a fun clown so to speak but I'd like to take a moment and give AJ Hightower a nice little golf clap. He gets it.
