With the injuries we've had , I'm inclined to agree. But since I mortgaged the future to get these guys, I probably should see it through at least to next year and see how these guys recover.

And the Tamieke one really hurts more because I didn't expect it AND he was playing well.

Anything is possible. You still have a great team. It's in your best interest to try and make the playoffs. Build for next year.

I think the Tamieke injury sucks but he will still be in his prime on a cheap deal thru next year. It's the Crudge one that really hurts with his history and financial cost.

I have a feeling Tameike will come back fine and because of missed time and bad stats the previous season, won't even ask for much money. He's going to still be a bargain at 35.

You gotta love when a rookie gets promoted and immediately believes he should be the closer.

              Lockhart?

edit: Actually, no. Couldn't be him. He's hurt. Why would you promote an injured player.

No. Funny thing happened last week to him.

                He got hurt.

So I don't think anyone could have predicted this out of Yamamoto, but hey I'll take it. That being said, if anyone is in need of a mercenary, hit me up.

Don't want to be a Debbie downer, but something tells me the "top hitting prospects" might get turned upside down after this draft. Not so much pitchers, probably be the usual turnover.

                                Just sayin.
