    In Washington...

    4-3 week; 2-2 @ Carolina, 2-1 @ Seattle. Two losses by one-run.

We are playing some decent baseball in May (10-10) and I will finally be able to export for the first time since Spring Training Sim #1, hopefully tomorrow afternoon. The pitching rotation and bullpen needs some tweaks but the lineup is starting to come together. With a PYT record of (-3) I do believe water will soon find it's level and Washington could be a .500 ball club near the All-Star break.

Correct. But I've got Tameike as my insurance policy.

Pretty sure you will trade him for a future first before we hit June.

What a garbage sim. No way we should be swept by that garbage team. Two of the best pitchers in the DL get completely trashed by PAW. Fucking garbage.

My offense is coming around. Need to get some consistency from the pen and we might have something special.

Pat Knight is angry he isn't in Denver.

First export since Spring Training #1! Ahhh....feels good. Some big changes across the board.

Bullpen - After beating up his neighbor in the off-season, closer David "The Sheriff" Rodriguez spent two months on the DL and the last three weeks rehabilitating his broken hand in Triple-A. He will immediately replace Tony "Vulture" Perez as the guy to get the final three outs. Perez has five loses and one blown save through his first 20 games. Another change is the demotion of long-time MR David Saucedo to long relief. After seven seasons as a setup man and part-time closer, his once 99 MPH velocity has dropped three straight months to 85-87.

Rotation - This week I'm replacing Dusty Cohen (1-5, 5.48, 1.59) for another 27-year-old in Dave "Wonder Boy" Ferneyhough. He doesn't rate well with my scout or OSA but I'm desperate. He had one really good September BLB start last year and so far in 2011 he is 5-0, 2.14, .83 in six Triple-A Starts.

Lineup - After hitting .366 (best on the team) from the #8 spot, OF DJ Nelson will get a rise in the order. The 26-year-old is now hitting .326 with an .868 OPS in 286 BLB games.

Big set with PHI and BAT. If I can come out of this week 4-3 I'd be happy. Lindsey comes back to Vegas and we've called Tom Cole off rehab assignment. Perkins will finish his rehab at AAA Reno before joining the BLB club.

We see McInturf this week. D'Orio sees his old mates as well.

                        Let's see what happens.

You catch us a bit shorthanded since Goto and Griffiths are still a few days away from returning. All road games for us this week; 3@DV and 3@WAS, our old nemesis.
