Well other than not adding Jaime to the lineup - everything looks good.

Unless we did away with pre-sim trades... in which case, disregard last comment.

Naw I missed it because he was a minor leaguer. Usually when they go DFA (due to salary) it reminds me...but because he was a minor league guy it just throws him in your minor league system and I lost track of him.

      Sorry.

Khang basically done for the year with a torn labia...er labrum.

I hope this next draft class is a good one. Should be getting a nice high pick.

On the bright side, with my experimental 3B, Tom Chapman, on the DL, my pickup of Hector Minas has worked out fairly well thus far.

Hopefully the wheels don't fall off for a while.

Pawtucket 3-3 against some pretty good competition.

Tony Cavazos "pending" . To be expected by the way he's been playing so far this season. Its ok, it a young man's game in the outfield.

19-12, 3-3 for the week. Gruell blew 2 saves, otherwise we'd be 5-1. Dave Richardson gets his 1st significant at bats on the season bats .292, homers and drives in 9 runs. I need to find a way to get him into the line-up more consistently. Edgar Castillo, Masao Nara, Travis Anthony and Johnny Ingle all put together good weeks with the bat.

Tom Bell continues to show he really is a starter and Tyler Clarke throws another good start.

Colin Cash comes back after a short stint on the DL and we get Tom Cole who was red hot back next week.

Honea (1.78) and Bourne (1.73) continue to deal in AAA. Tommy Taylor rises to 68th in the Top 100, Tortorici is at #71 and we add Tristan Jackson with 1.1. We also manage to keep 1.24 and hope to add another Top 100 prospect to our system.

Overall, things are looking great in Vegas.

                  Still sitting just under .500.

The Tyler McLouth Era in Maine is over after 82 at-bats. If someone wants to take a flyer, he's on waivers on a cheap contract.

                      Back to winning some games.

5-1. 2 of 3 over Morgantown who loses a great young pitcher. Hate to see that. And a sweep of Seattle. 1.5 back of Dallas.

Sometimes you just need to go home and hit against some right handed pitching.

Offense was atypical. Extra base hits. Stolen bases. The usual. Banuelos takes home DL POTW. Colin Reed's magic looks to have left him. Time for a change. If he's not going to hit, might as well promote someone who will play good defense at third.

Pitching was solid enough. Promoted Doggett to be our closer again. He went 3/3 in save opps.

Tameike better remember he's back in Denver.

Keeping pace. Right where we want to be. Zach Henne is starting to get hot, once he gets going things will fall into place.

Moved Shane Berry to the two hole and he responded extremely well with a .348/.444/.652/1.097 week with 5 of his 8 hits going for extra bases. For the season he's batting .305/.381/.571/.953 he's going to be a really good player for us for a long time. His presence has allowed us to teach Dave Shook 1B and will allow us to keep him in AA a bit longer until he develops there, very high work ethic so we think he'll become a solid defensive 1B.

AJ Hightower continues to dazzle, but he's been the unlucky recipient of no offense during his starts. Through 50 IP he's been a 2.3 WAR player with 65Ks-7BB, 0.95 WHIP, and a 2.86 ERA. Angulo, Rocha, and Fudd have all been very solid for us, take away Fudds first start and he's been spectacular.

Guardian pitched 6 innings of good baseball before surrendering 3 runs in the seventh during his first start, may have been left in a bit too long, with our pen there was no reason for him to be in the game in the 7th. Will have to adjust some things.

Tubby has been lights out all season, Crook and Raymer have been great getting him the ball in the ninth.

When that weather heats up, the Millers will start raking. Solid start to the season and there's a lot of ball left to play.

Wow. 6-0 and that's what I like to see. Of course Chiba finally waking up probably had a bit to do with it.

But in other news, Tara f'n Tanaka with a big week when he gets regular starts as our lead off hitter vs. RHP. You have earned the month of May up there with that performance sir.
