Ebbs and flows I'm sure. I just know early decade we had some big hitters in the draft (faded some last half)

I guess the point I was making is seems if your a shitty pitcher now, your a shitty pitcher. Pat's had a nice history if working magic on pitchers that were lets say crazy looking. So far, doesn't feel like this will work in this version.

Again small sample size, but it feels like something might be different.

If you dealt with his rookie season you'd understand. Plus Jistic always rides me on this guy being a bust.

We just can't beat Pawtucket, amongst other teams. Seriously, Funlown, you guys will probably have 20 plus wins just playing us alone.

You're other 1.2 tanking pick McDade is going to be even better. They're a long way from Apachio's 2-23 "I'm really trying guys" record.

Just a bad match up for you. Believe it or not, it use to be the opposite.

We were 19-3 against you last season. The division runs thru Hartford (Pitt was like .500 and Maine was actually below .500)

In a few seasons I'll be bitching about you guys.

Now why rip on Aparicio??? The guy was a Pale Award winner only 2-3 season prior to his "off" year.

"Tank to a Title" tshirts were passed out on Opening Day in PAW. I heard someone we know picked one up and took some pics of himself at Disney in them.

Thats actually be pretty cool. I'm hoping the Cubs might be able to do that someday.

Yeah small sample sizes indeed. But it does make it tough to evaluate some guys. I bounce back and forth between keeping my picks or trading them.

I wonder a couple things I rather not share just for competitive purposes. But those wonders are why I have stayed put with the glut of hitters I have.

There isn't a way to evaluate how my team would perform without certain guys since I don't have a Saber guy crunching these numbers for me. I could easily trade a couple for some arms but I'm not convinced that will benefit me. All I know is I've won with my offense so why mess with a good thing? And if those hitters aren't in the draft, I'll be giving up a rare resource. Right now I've seen guys dangle their pitchers like rare commodities that deserve way too much in return. I argue my hitters are actually the rare commodity. That's the stand still.

Of course v15 could change that and maybe it won't even matter. I don't know. I just keep at it and adjust where I can.

Yeah, I'd feel better about sweeping you and your snack food eating team but then I turned around and lost 2 of 3 at Hartford.

I'm not so sure your pitching is as bad as everyone thinks. That defensive unit behind them is horrible.

I agree that's my real issue.

I've been drafting defense for the past couple seasons because I've always preferred it. The outfield can't field. It does hurt.

But I'm not about to trade those big bats away just so I can play Enrique Sanchez in centerfield.

I mean that's the "plan" eventually when my luck runs out but I'll just keep at it till my team is a total disaster despite the offense.

If this is the year we collapse because of the OF defense, you'll see a real block of Verba, Wright, Rodriques and Perkins in the off season.
