1-6 week. Wow. The Bats didn't have a 1-6 week all of 2010. I would like to chalk it up to "just one week," like Funclown said but I'm not so sure about this team. It's definitely flawed. To make matters worse, the games weren't really that close:

    LAM
    Game 1: Down 0-5 after the 1st, lost 2-6.
    Game 2: Down 2-6 after the 4th, lost 3-11.
    Game 3: Down 1-4 after the 5th, lost 3-5.

    DAV
    Game 1: Down 0-2 after the 1st, lost 3-5.
    Game 2: Down 0-4 after the 1st, lost 1-8.
    Game 3: Down 1-3 after the 2nd, lost 2-3.
Game 4: Down 0-1 after the 4th, but we scored two in the bottom of the 9th to win 2-1, despite getting out hit 6-10.

The loss of Travis DuFour, Jody Richards and Ian Fain is felt immediately. My rotation went a combined 0-6. Clearly that is going to be a problem all year unless we make some changes.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

I feel your pain, man. I let my trainer go. He didn't have great ratings. My new one does and bam, three guys down. Of course, maybe this new trainer made the injuries shorter and there's also the possibility my guys don't suffer great damage.

      Hard to know.

Eh, 4-3 start to the season.

*Taylor Bell wins IL Player of the Week honors
*3B Tom Griffiths has a pending diagnosis injury.
*New addition OF Tom Gibson got off to a good start.
*SP Pat Evans picked up where he left off from the Brewmasters last season and dominated in his 2 starts picking up 2 W's. Seems like he'll have to hit the top players list at some point this season if he keeps this up

Bats did their job, but man, this pitching is terrible! I mean, they'll be better, but wow that was horrendous.

I guess Inouye was not too happy about a rookie starting in front of him. That's how you earn your spot.

Going to try our best to give Washington their worst start to a season in a while.

Hall Hanging Up Cleats In Favor of Golf Shoes
                      Sunday, April 10th, 2011
Ted Hall has decided to quit baseball and pursue a career as a professional golfer. The Komets starting pitcher, who was a standout linksman in college, barely missed out on a PGA tour exemption in Q-School last year. Now that his career has stalled in the minors and Hall says he's ready for another career change. "Baseball will always be my first love, but I just don't see myself having the same amount of success as I would playing golf." Hall will attempt to qualify for the Nationwide Tour next season in the hopes of obtaining a PGA tour card.
You are 100% shitting me this is a thing we have in our league now, right??? The guy was our 2nd best prospect, possibly our best. I rarely give a shit about injuries and whatnot, but this has me pretty hot. Is this something we're keeping on? I could see if he got hurt, playing the fucking game we're simming, but to have him quit to go play fucking golf just for the sake of adding a twist to the game??? Ridiculous.

That's amazing! Glad it's not in my organization.

You wouldn't want to deny a guy a chance to follow his dream would you....unless of course it happened to me and then you would be right, it would be the total shits!

I'm assuming the only setting this would relate to would be story lines? Like the storyline where my closer broke his hand punching his neighbor? I'd be pretty upset about losing my #2 prospect to something like this too...If there is anything we can do to restore him I'm 100% in on it.

That's fucked up dude. IDK if we can restore him but I'd be in favor of giving you some kind of compensation pick at least

I've never seen a bigger hater than Ryan.

Ryan - the dude BARELY missed the cut at Q School while playing baseball full time! Imagine what he could do if he put a little more focus on golf. He probably sees the direction the Clowns are going and knows it's time to cut bait, too. Quit hating!
