    - Don't forget the new rules:

    1. If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.

    2. Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.

    3. No contact extensions allowed before 1st arbitration contact.

Man the off-season is slow when you don't have any money for Free-Agents...You'd think I'd learn my lesson by now.

Former Washington great, CF BJ Jobe found a new home landing a $12M deal over three years to play in Davenport. This might seem like a minor signing but I think this was a very smooth off-season for the Brawlers. Late into the season three of their top hitters needed extensions and they elected to re-sign SS Dave Nelson and 2B Xavier Hernandez, while electing to let RF Tom Gibson test the Free-Agent waters. Gibson is a nice player but he's asking for an annual salary of $18M. The addition of Jobe fills that OF void at a fraction of the cost while landing the Brawlers a leadoff hitter, something the team has been lacking.

If the Brawlers can stay healthy this year the Bock should be a battle all year long.

I like that OOTP 15 shows how a guy joined your club.

              Exported just now.

I actually have had a few export issues in the past week however. I'm not sure if it's an SGN or OOTP15 thing but there is probably once a sim where it doesn't connect. Try again and I think you should be fine.

You were right. I waited a few and tried again and it went fine. Thanks.

Locked SS Andy Garcia up to a nice extension, buying out his next 3 years of arbitration (he was a Super 2) and 3 additional years after. It's no Windy City special, but we're glad to have some reasonable cost certainty on one of our keystone players.

Pretty happy with our offseason thus far. Still not done, need to move Banuelos, but our roster is about set. I really like the look of our lineup offensively and defensively.
