That's a good idea, I like it. Would be even cooler for drafted rookies to have that dynamic where we have to work to sign them.

Thats a whole budget thing where I think for most owners would get to crazy. I simple roster of agents (maybe 7-8) with "ratings" or "tendencies" would be awesome. Then after the players are drafted (NOT BEFORE) they chose agents . As they're careers progress they could chose to dump agents for different ones.

Yeah the Boras effect would have us over-paying even more for FA's.

All I know is the greedy rating and or loyalty rating doesn't work right for players. Not sure why they can't tie it in correctly. I've seen the least greedy player ask for the moon. Maybe greed rating or loyalty can have some impact on which agent they chose?

Anyway the point of the agents would be a guys probability to be locked up during "arb" , maybe affect "bonuses", also some might just want to be a free agent no matter what since the players value would demand would be huge.

I just think it be fun watching players move just cuz we know that agent is a complete pain in the ass.

"How greedy the player is. Greed is a strong factor in contract negotiations, and can have a negative impact on morale if the player feels he is underpaid."

"How loyal a player is to his current team. Players with high loyalty may be more likely to sign extensions."

"Note: The effects of personalities are unpredictable, just as in the real world. Personalities might affect the game in ways other than what is described above, and personalities are not absolutes! For example, a player with a high loyalty might elect not to sign an extension with your team. Players will not always behave precisely according to their player personalities."

I also think there is something to the players personality changing the way a player produces in certain situations. For example, I assume a player with High Loyalty will play better when he is on a multi-year deal. He's locked up. He doesn't have to worry about where he will be playing next year. However, the counter is the High Greedy player who can have a great season when they are in a contract year. Again, none of these personality ratings are concrete but that's how I look at it.

I've questioned the work ethic & intelligence for quiet sometime. I've seen dumb and lazy guys still progress and become great. I've seen high work ethic guys crash before 29.

I think it might help for some dice rolls (maybe). For whats its worth I've seen potentially top pitching prospects not develop control cuz they are dumb.

Last scouting report SP Troy Donavon just got a double bump to a 6-6-5 now. He's lazy, dumb oh and very fat!
