That not only would be a huge overreaction but really isn't the best interest of competition for the league. I hope you reconsider and put some time into your export. The league deserves your best efforts despite the fact your export didn't go exactly as planned. It happens to all of us.

Also...How is your rotation screwed up? Schiefelbein and Robertson are by far your #1 and #2 pitchers and they are 100% rested. Who is this "key reliever" who has now lost his confidence? CJ Evers? He pitched in two games in September. Two. I'd be more worried about rust than I would his confidence. It's possible the CPU starting him and giving him some innings actually helped knock off two weeks of rust.

Or maybe you were being sarcastic.

Bats OF Manny Reyes finishes the year with 102 RBI. He hit either leadoff (256 ABs), 2nd (138 ABs) or 8th (115 ABs) for majority of the season. He also hit just 10 HRs. Pretty amazing.

Completed another 100 win season that will probably result in a Fred Schubert led elimination in a one game playoff.

Thankful for Ethan Bafford and Shane Berry coming back, we'll see how it plays out.

Just want to clarify- this 1 game playoff will have my PLAYOFF ROSTER not ACTIVE ROSTER correct?

As long as it's the playoff roster- I'm good to go and exported.

I know the feeling. I have no idea what the AI was doing to my pitching staff this week.

It has something to do wit clinching, I think. It's the same problem it has with the bullpen after the All Star Game. It's OOTP logic that's dumb.

Anyway, I'll have Pat and you know that I did set my own lineups and rotation. I would never let the computer overlords decide my fate alone.

I mix the 7 day lineups with standard lineups (which i make not the CPU)

Do be honest the front of my bullpen has worked like a charm all season. I don't have alot of multi roles with the setup/ closer spot. I do mix and match the back of the bullpen pen however (long RP, specialist, ,ect)

I usually try to leave the front of the bullpen alone except preseason to give others a look.

Well despite our budget being 9 million over, we finish the year with season with over 5.5 ml surplus with playoff revenue to go.

Finally get to add those 1000 seats as we continue our 22ml stadium renovation plan. (spent 12.5 last season)

I have no idea how seeding works. Any ideas? Does the 1st seed always play the wild card or do they play the team with the least wins regardless of their play-in or bye?

Trying to figure out if I'm playing Los Angeles at home or if I'll be rooting for Dallas to beat Pittsburgh so I play at home in the first round. Then again, if Pittsburgh beats Dallas, does that mean they will have home field over me or do I get it automatically because they were a play-in team?

Basically, I don't want to play Pittsburgh in the first round because it probably means I'll be on the road (and also because it's Pittsburgh). And the main reason we beat them last year is because we were home.

edit: Just checked how MLB does it. If OOTP follows MLB rules, Denver hosts LA. The top seed always plays the wild card winner.

I "thought" its a standard 1-4 seeding (after the wildcard) based on records. Thought I looked it up. Then again. its been 5 years since we've been here so.......

I actually have no preference. LA has been one of the hottest teams in the 2nd half and have a history of knocking out the 1st seed.

I play Pitt even. It will be a fight no doubt, but my team is paper tiger anyway and is cursed on multiple levels (1st seed DL, too many wins, ect)

Pitts hitting or LA's pitching, pick your poison. Now Dallas would add a whole crazy element to this equation.

The game resets now. Time to see how it plays out.

                          Stand corrected, you got LA?

Under this format, a second wild card team has been added to each league, i.e., the team with the second-highest win total in each league among non-division winners. The two wild card teams play in a one-game playoff after the end of the regular season, with the winner advancing to the Division Series. The divisional champions qualify for the Division Series just as in the previous format; however, under the expanded wild card format the winner of the one-game wild card playoff faces the top-seeded divisional champion in the Division Series, regardless of whether the two teams are in the same division, while the second- and third-seeded divisional champions play each other in the other Division Series. The format for placement in the League Championship Series and World Series remains.

But yeah, it would seem I have LA and you'll be watching the wild card game closely. If that's how OOTP handles it.

Dallas is in. Not liking our chances, but we're riding the experienced vet CJ Skinner into Pittsburgh. He's been our best pitcher this year, and best on the road.

Also, grats to Villarroel on 51 HRs, and Rosema on his extension.
