I'm not with you on this one, Pat.
mwetts drafted Bafford. Duh. The next best Millers bats this season were Henne, Gleason, Ingle, D'Orio, Berry, and maybe Gomez. ALL Mike guys.
Tameike is a Mike guy. Hightower is a Mike guy. Both great acquisitions on shrewd deals.
Sure, Mike inherited Bafford, Thomas, and Rocha — and some other guys he dealt.
But he also extended the team's window. There aren't a ton of teams out there who have been able to win 100 games four years apart. Without his stewardship, we may be talking about a Millers team that started fading the last couple years as other guys aged or got overpaid resulting in holes in the rest of the roster.Maine Guides

I went to the grocery store this morning, and I could have SWORN the guy bagging my groceries looked familiar.
I had to look really close — his beard is longer now, like a homeless person's — and that's when I realized . . .
It was Miguel Angel Padilla!
He's not doing too well, Pat. You see, he didn't log enough BLB service time to receive a pension.
I wonder why that was...Maine Guides

And I mentioned the hitter additions.
Just because Mike didn't get a vote from me doesn't mean I thought he didn't do an exceptional job. GM of the year is like that. You can usually make a case for 10 GMs.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

We've seen it before, guys getting irate over sprites. Carlos comes to mind. But he's been incarcerated. Prez, he's been angry as well. UMD. Both of these guys have had run ins with Clay, so understandable.
We all have our story. Mike's will come with time. Kind of reminds me a bit of a more mature JJ. Like a lot more mature, but still JJ-esque.Last edited by Ryan; 03-14-2015, 04:43 PM.
