Wyatt had an outstanding season. But I'll go with Chiba over Wyatt 10 times out of 10 at the plate at THIS POINT in their careers. Haraguchi is the future and if Chiba wasn't in the IL he'd be the premier power first baseman, IMO.

Feliciano....that's a tough one right there. Tried to get him for YEARS before we picked up Chiba.

Chiba is the BLB's version of Larry Walker.

Ridiculous home/road splits in the most LH hitter friendly park. Lefty. Leads the league in AVG every year. Goes to All-Star Games. Wins awards. Played on a bunch of 75-85 win teams.

There was a number of good candidates this year actually. You could make a case for 5-6 owners IMO. I actually left Mike C off the ballot. I would honestly give a vote to Mwetts. Mike made a number of moves that really paid off, and he continues that trend by robbing Indy today...but like Delandis said, that team was stacked with talent.
        Robbed? Ha, no thanks.

Patterson was wildly inconsistent all year, only getting hot the last month or so to post respectable season totals. Walk rate was down, strikeout rate was up. It is an absolute waste to keep anyone of value on my team as it currently stands. 2.5 WAR, slightly above average glove in CF.

Now, if I had a team to wrap around him, he's pretty damn valuable. But in Indy, he's a lobster in a dish served with Ramen noodles.

I just think he's a good player and you don't have many of those. Unless you have a farm system like funclown, you usually can't jump from bad team to great team in one season. And even then, sometimes it takes a few years to get it right...just ask Carolina.

Getting a late 2nd round pick for a guy you signed the previous season in Free-Agency is nice. I just think Patterson is just entering his prime and is locked up fairly cheap.

But let's say that 2nd round pick is spent on a HS prospect...that means you will probably have to wait for another six seasons before he can contribute. If he hits...while Patterson you know would be solid for the next handful of seasons.

And as for being wildly inconsistent...yeah, it's not like he had much help in the lineup.

I guess I will have to watch more baseball so I can feel insulted.

If he's only going to hit .323 and OPS .900 on the road with 28 home runs (extrapolated), I'll just somehow have to live with that.

            It is all good though.

I know you are still pissed that I stole Crudge from you before you were able to move Aten.

We appreciate it after such a craptastic season as a team.

Do you not agree? The Millers were easily be the best inherited franchise in BLB history.

I loved the moves for Henne and D'Orio...and we both know you are going to own that division...I iust think if you had the Millers on CPU control the past two years the talent would win.

Interesting tidbit: This is the first sub-86 win team he's played on since he's been in the BLB. Miraculously, he has somehow has won 2 Porter titles in the process.

But anyway, I'd see no problem with anyone voting for Murillo as #1. He's going to be very dangerous over the coming years.

Yeah, if I was closer, I'd have kept him. Nice addition to an already good/close team, total waste on a team like mine. He can be easily replaced this off season.

If I had held, which I was planning to, and he hadn't hit and fell off in his early 30's, I'm a big dummy. No reason to risk it at this point.

Late 2nd for sure, and I have no idea what will be there for me, if anything useful, but we'll see. I don't buy lottery tickets in real life, that's what this game's for.

Lol. Mike, I will say you make laugh.

Don't feel bad. A lot of good GMs in this league. We won 106 games and can argue the trades for SP Filepe Vega, RF Israel Morales, RP Sandy Franco, Tony Cavasoz last year plus this years huge trade getting CF Sonny Mason & SP Jarood Nygaard this season without giving up our future was pretty dam good.

The free agent signing of 1B Jon Montalbo & the luck signing of CL Lovera (#9 prospect to start the year helped also.

We missed on the Wences trade and so far the Oshman signing, but hey not often you hit this many deals so I'll take it.

We even won a AAA championship!

Don't take it personally is just the summary.

I don't disagree, I inherited a good team and have sustained that success. I just find it comical that you'd say you'd vote for a gm who left 3 years ago, a gm who you trashed once by saying "his inactivity was why Ian fain struggled" unless you were intentionally being a dick towards me. I've been here since 2008, I've prob been the most active person in this league since then. If you don't want to vote for me, don't worry, I'll live, bradz was my vote anyway, he's been fantastic. But to say you'd vote for mwetts is just you being a dick.

                          Wrong again.

You took over at the end of the 2008 season. Mwetts was done by the end of 2007. There was an owner in between you two that was negligent.

Isn't that kind of a point in Mikes favor?
