32 games to go for us. If we go .500 the remainder of the way, we'll win 100 games for the first time in team history. We have loftier goals than that, but just a reminder to the Philly faithful to enjoy this season while it lasts.

3-3 week. 2-1 vs Pawtucket and 1-2 @ Hartford. Finishing our back-to-back Ale weeks at 5-7, our worst two week stretch I think all season. Can't say I'm surprised. The Ale is by far the best division in the BLB and it's not even close.

Had a 16-1 win over Pawtucket which featured three bat hitters with 4-hit games, two with 3-RBI games and one with a 4-RBI game. Combined with SP Travis DuFour throwing his first CG of the season.

And the hottest Bat of all, OF Pat Ladd, didn't even play in that 16-1 smash! The 31-year-old has started to heat up. His OPS by month: .740, .706, .859, .857, .977. I've limited his starts as he is "fragile" but I think the guy still has a bit left in the tank.

SS/3B Antonio Cardenas broke the 100 RBI mark for the fourth time in his career. He now has 101 RBI in just 111 games! In the 16-1 romp he went 4/6, 2B, 2HR, 2RBI, 4R.

With a 15 game lead in the Stout, the Bats are on cruise control. Very excited for the September Roster Expansion to keep the guys fresh.

2010 REGULAR SEASON SIM 21 Complete - Next SIM THU 03/05

3-3. Swept 'Cuse then got beat up by Dallas. Feels like a wasted year a bit because it's not guaranteed that Chiba and Taylor put up numbers like this again, at the same time.

I guess the silver lining is that Crudge is the pitcher we thought. In six games: 2.39 ERA, 20K, 8 BB, and just 1 HRA. He's 0-3 primarily because of our defense and lack of run support when he is on the mound, but his performances are encouraging for next year.

It wasn't for a few of these veterans having very good seasons or "career years" my prediction would of held.

I don't have my 1st next season anyway so yes we were pushing as hard as we can.

5-1 week. Bringing us to 83-46 and Tied with the Pats for first.

            - Schubert mashed and won player of the week for us. (Lol)

            - Managed to get 13 hits off the best pitcher in the game, Gil Brummett in the rubber match of our series with DVS. That's like a top 5 highlight for the season

            - Welcome Back AJ Hightower, we missed you. He was a bit rocky in his return from injury, but last week he struck out 24, walked only 2 in 13 IP, bringing his season totals to 182 K to 26 BB. Should we get to a series where we have 7 games, it's going to be interesting to see if he or Colin Petrizzo wins that 4th SP position.

            - We've now hit 201 HR for the season, which has broken the Millers all time record of 197. We've got a month to go to break the league record.

Gonna be a lot different next sim, but as long as we keep playing Millers baseball, we'll be alright.

Maine for four and Pawtucket for four coming up. All on the road. Here we go...

Lol, I just noticed CF Tony Cavazos only played one game this week cuz he was injured for 5 days.

I guess it could of been worse. Let's hope Tony got his last injury in 2010 out of the way.

Man I keep hoping that with Verba and Perkins. Might have to throw one at 1B and have the other DH.

I get the feeling someday Isreal Morales ends up at DH as he ages. (Fragile)

I think that's an OOTP problem.

In recent years I have had to trade away a ton. Heishu Shiraishi, Al Anguinano, Willie Garcia, BJ Jobe, Makato Kataoka...and my OF is still crowded.

Judging by the past couple of drafts I think the game is starting to compensate. Scoring has been steadily climbing since we bottomed out in 2000 and these outfielders are playing a big part in that.

I recall between 2001-2007 you had 4 maybe 5 impressive outfielders at the top of the draft. Today its 1 or 2 tops.

That's because you're lucky to have 2 impressive hitters at all in the draft. They just still happen to usually be OF'ers.
