Pawtucket 4-2. Looks like we are starting to roll again in July.

3 Allstars! Haven't said that in about 5 seasons.

Reason for hope: RF Isreal Morales now one month away from coming back, CF Sonny Mason looks like the real deal and SP Talley looked half way decent in his last outing.


20 games above .500 and we've proven we can hang with these mean Ale brothers. No real complaints.

Shook the lineup a bit and it looks to have paid immediate dividends with a 5-1 winning sim.

I think the lightbulb may have finally been flipped on for Oscar Sanchez as he has raised his average almost 30 points over the last month or so. If he has turned it on, with a little luck we can fight our way back into the playoff race.

Not likely, but we can hope right?

Can't bitch about a 7.5 game lead at the break. Three all stars this year. Proud of former 9th round pick and Washington castoff Napoleon "Thunder" Mendoza making his first all star game.

He will make a fine replacement for JJ Caplan who is now available at a reasonable price.

We just can't pitch. Our SP had been the strength of our team during our run and they are 11th in the IL. Just a horrible year. We fired our bench coach and promoted a minor league guy. Still in the WC hunt, maybe we can be a team of two halves.
