Just not our year. 2-5 on the week as our SP falls to 10th in league ERA.

This week we lost games by giving up 6, 11, 9, 8, and 9 runs. I'm just blown away how bad we are.

5-2 week, Tied for first place with Pawtucket, big 4 game series coming up in the 'burgh with them. Get your popcorn ready, statement series.

      Reasons for optimism....
      - Colin Petrizzo wins pitcher of the month award. 4-0 1.64 ERA last month
      - 6 of our 9 regulars with a plus .800 OPS.
      - 25 more homers than the team in second place (122-97)
      - 44 more runs scored than the second highest offense (451-407)
      - Yoshi went 1-0 with 14 K's in 14 IP last week, he's starting to get comfortable out there.
      - AJ Hightower is coming back soon! After missing a few weeks he still leads out staff in strikeouts with 122.

It will all come down to health!

      Let's go Millers!

        Pawtucket 4-3.

Ok this concludes our .500 June. Before we moved onto July (3-1) this little game got me a bit peeved:

        http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...e_box_926.html

Nothing like blowing a 7-0 lead to one of the worst teams in baseball. In imaginary world I'm sure I paid a visit to the locker room to explain to them that this is Pawtucket where you can be traded at anytime.

Anyway, least we broke our 3-3 string for five straight weeks. Midway point and 50 wins is nothing to be ashamed of so ill look at this as cup half full. 92 wins probably gets us in the playoffs.

Other news: Lynn (AAA 49-27) & Lawrence (AA 48-28) each having strong seasons. Back up to #3 best farm system in baseball. Still have a lot in our PD budget so hoping this decade will be tear down free.

Took 2/3 from Toronto and split a 4 game set with LA. Both losses were of the one run style. Gonna make some changes to the lineup, we gotta come through more often in these tight games.

Should be interesting. We're just looking for the split to be honest.

Oh and the reason your 25 more home runs then anyone else is cuz your play in some goofy pinball machine.

That may be the case but the all time BLB team HR record is 213 and 214 was our goal from the first day of spring training. 92 to go! Hopefully we get 10 during that monstrous pre-ASG series with the Pats!

Really can't complain. Widening our lead and playing better. Mejia jumps back on the top players list, Stinger gets his 300th save at age 27. Robles is definitely making a case for me to resign him after not being able to trade him last year. Might be like Herberholtz where it's a blessing in disguise that nobody wanted him.

                              Ho hum, keep chugging along.
