With the 2 month injury to RF Morales, Pawtucket calls up 2000 1st rounder CF Ethan 'Mule' Costa to basically backup CF and start an occasion game. His days of pitching long behind him.
Traded in 01 in a bigger package for SP Tyler Gerard, Costa went from pitcher, to OFer, back to pitcher then finally given up on in 08 by Hartford after only getting a career 110 at bats at the BLB level.
Last season we picked Costa up, moved him to center field and this year he's batted .362 for Lynn , took a ratings bump in CF and sits #2 on the AAA top players list for hitters. 31 years old now so maybe a case of better late then never?????
