Darn it forgot to export...on interleague play week as well. Having HAL set my lineups was fun...as evidence in a 17-4 loss at Pittsburgh.

1-5. I can't figure this team out. We should be better hitters, but we're not. I think I'm done trying to fix it and will ride it out, crossing my fingers and hoping we make the playoffs? Maybe? Who knows? If we don't make the playoffs, I'll guess I'll just sell off some pieces in the offseason and take a step back. Ratings/stats/match-ups say we should be a better hitting team. I just don't get it, I'm starting to think it's just one of those things I can't fix.

I'm also having my (usual) every other year feeling that Pat's going to win another title. WAS is looking like a powerhouse.

Completely outclassed by the Ale. So I'm thinking now is probably a good time to press the reset button

          Pawtucket 3-3.

Kind of in that "eh" zone right now, but the season ebbs and flows so not unexpected. I also hate playing at California so some odd reason.

RF- Isreal Morales out 8 weeks. Sucks its a "throwing" injury. Would of been perfectly happy sticking him at DH is thats all it is.

That I'm bad and you're good? I knew it. I thought I'd be better though - enough to push you a bit. Not really the case as we hit mid-June.

Wow a couple of teams in the IL are trying to end it right here and now.

I think Pawtucket gets they're first losing week of the season coming up. Philly is just rolling and Batavia isn't exactly a push over either.

Nice bounceback performance from the team as a whole. 5-1, pitching was phenomenal. Nice to see Sal Bermudez turn in a solid week (2-0, 0 ER over 14 IP). He'd hit a bit of a rough stretch the past month or so. John Ayala wins IL Pitcher award for May and now has gone 0-2 in June. Guess it's his turn to be down.

My pen is killing me. We have blown about 5 or 6 games in the past three weeks alone. I'm not talking 1 or 2 run games either, more like leads of 4+ entering the 8th. It's crazy.

I'm trying hard not to let desperation result in a trade, but it's getting difficult.

Denver is waking up. There's going to be a team squeezed out of the playoffs - PAW/MAI/PIT/DAL/DEN...

That's going to be a bummer for one team. Denver and Dallas still have 13 more games against one another.

The only way we get in is if Scheif and Robertson keep showing improvement and Tamieke keeps up at his Ace-like pace while Melgoza and Gaxiola float around.

That's a lot of ifs in the rotation. Maybe this Dallas injury at centerfield will help us? We both have bullpen issues, though I'm actually not concerned about my pen. I think it's young and just needs time.

Anyway 6-1 week moves us to 4.5 back of the Pilsner lead and 4 back of the wild card. If our pitching makes the jump sooner than I expect, then I'm extremely confident about making the playoffs. If it doesn't, I don't see it happening, offense or not.
