    Pawtucket 3-3.

Blew that 2nd game against Dallas.

Overall looks like we had a decent month.

Little to early to call it a crucial week, but I'd say next weeks games against Pitt and Maine will be a good test. We have 3 hitters hot going into this coming sim, maybe this will help?

The Good: Washington goes 5-1 with their only loss a 4-5 nail bitter, where the Bats had bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the 9th. With Death Valley going 0-6, Washington now leads the Stout by two games.

The Bad: Star 2B Danny Romero broke his finger and will miss six weeks. Pretty severe injury as Romero has been to two consecutive All-Star games and won two DWIs at 2B.

The Ugly: I'm paying OFs Pat Ladd and Many Reyes a combined $30M to hit .700 OPS. I'm paying SP Robby Aten $20M for a 5.12 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. Money well spent...

Next Week: Road Stout Week! 3@MOR and 3@SEA. Should be a good road test with my team banged up despite Morgantown and Seattle's poor record. I'll say 3-3.

We're so bad. All that anticipation for a SIM and then we go 1-5...

The curse of the black out begins. Dunn/Quinn are not the same duo they were the past 2 seasons. We have a new hitting coach who has legendary ratings and seems made for the job. But he still can't get these guys to hit.

We must have chemistry or clubhouse problems....

A 4-2 week. At .500 with our best offensive showing. Pitching was also very solid. Loads of strikeouts, few walks, less home runs allowed than usual.

This is where we probably get hot. Henry Rodrigues once again is our best player. He doesn't slow down. I can't remember a time he was cold.

            Thank goodness for him.

I'm still upset at blowing a 10-4 lead to the Guides, giving up 5 in the 9th to lose 11-10. Turns a 4-2 week with two series wins over Ale foes into a 3-3 week. Boo.

Good news is, so far this season, we've proven we can play with the DL's best.

Somehow we're in first. My guys are old so they need the weather to be warm. I think we have to resign Robles. He seems to be the spiritual leader of our team.

Ohhh, you couldn't wait to play me? Well I came, left my used tissues and a broom for to you clean up with.

Don't feel so bad though. The only dominant sims I have coincide with another injury to my best hitter. I'm going to try putting Gutz on the 60 day DL in hopes that the game stops targeting him for destruction.
