I mean, a five year plan should work.

A plan taken to the extreme. His tank job was bad for the league!

I think this is where we sit. .500 team at the end of the season. But a year to let the young guys develop some.

I figured it would be bumpy adding two/three rookies to our rotation, another two to the bullpen, and trying to squeeze our top hitting prospect into the lineup.

Just going to consider this season a year for development.

Oh, stop it. You're still the favorite. The only reason the Snappers and Slammers are still in it is because you ignored your team's one glaring weakness. The bats carried the pitching last year, but you aren't getting anything close to last year's production offensively.
Not yet, anyway. As Clay used to say, water finds its level. You'll come around.

I ignored my weakness for this season, but those guys will improve and make it a non-weakness in the future. But that's my point: I allowed the set-back for this season so we can be better the next.

Oh it was 3 bad seasons. Teams suck way longer then that. Last year we actually were putting the pieces together.

It beats what would of became a decade of sitting in the middle which is exactly where we would of been.

With that being said, I still have us finishing 3rd.

                                He poses an existential question.

Are you really a Denver outfielder if you can catch fly balls?
