              Pawtucket prospect watch.

(AAA) 1B Pat Powell apprentice to Jon Mantalvo looks like the real deal batting .313 with 4hrs in early action. Think the move back to 1B really settled him down.

(AA) SP Johnny Mcdade is just PISSED. .50 era / 3-1 (some how lost a game) 5 walks/ 30so and .95 wip. He's had the green light to AAA since the minor season started. Probably give him 2-3 more starts then a trip to Lynn(AAA) awaits.

              (A) CF Jamie Roberts is bolted up to 27th on top prospect list and...not 100% sure why. He has shown some progress maybe, but OSA sees something in him I guess. See if he earns a trip to AA by mid June.

              (A) SP Jaylen Mitchell. Not happy with his start, but has also had the green light to AA since starting the season so maybe he's unhappy with us? Could be impeding his progress so unless he gets injured AA after draft is likely.

I'll skip our 18yr catcher cuz he's too young to even worry about right now.

Despite 5 kids that started the season in the big show still plenty of interesting kids down on the farm.

I saw that. Too bad about the rain, maybe he could have gone longer.

3-3 and it looks like we are going to hover a game or two above .500 if I don't get a handle on this bullpen.

In other news, 2nd year catcher Joham Baiano is hitting .350 again and continues to outplay his ratjngs(although he got a bump in contact and gap this month) and now he believes he's good enough to start. Can't argue with his results.

You'll get your chance next year young buck.

Nygaard lost to Shuh but pitched well. Mason has hit 3 hrs(7 for the season) since coming over.

That being said, I grew to love Van Leer. I had to really slow cook him since those first few seasons he wasn't developing. If he could of just played CF I'm glad he's performing.....in the IL

I feel the same about Mason. I really like him and was excited to see what he could do in the BLB.
