I hadn't been following the kid but that Glomski injury for Los Alamos sucks. Looks like he was not too bad.

    Hope he recovers well.

Yeah I'd probably want that trade back. I did a solid year out of Al Hamilton and Erik Kiefer from him. I knew Chiba was gonna be a good player though.

His home/road splits will eventually catch up to him this year. He's not that good of a hitter on the road there.

Chiba is a top player and OSA has him at 8-6-7-5-7 vs RHB. I don't care where he's playing he's a stud. Obviously he won't continue on the .400+ road streak but still...he's phenomenal.

I'm hoping Haraguchi can give him a run at 1B in the Porter but he's Fragile and it shows.

Yup. He was one of the hopefuls in my under the radar system. Hopefully he recovers.

1B Carmen came real close in 92 , but got screwed by his OWN teammate (SS Zamaro) edged him out final week for the batting title.

So I did my yearly draft breakdown and there seems to be a ton more talent this year compared to 2009.

I see the same thing. I think there's more talent than we have had in a few seasons.

Z obviously moved up for something. Where are you, long lost Z? Expose your pick!

My thoughts exactly. I see about 35-40 decent prospects. Like I said earlier, there is a LOT of power coming into the league. I think that's going to balance the pitching. These kind of guys will not hit for average but you are going to get a lot of victory laps around here. Also seeing a "higher than normal" number of patient guys that I'm not used to seeing.

I haven't gone much further than that yet. I'll have a few minutes now to see what's around for the 3rd-5th in a bit.

Hope Z is alright. Not often we don't have a Z sighting during the day...especially with his pick up.

Took a quick impromptu trip with my wife to the coast. Might be moving out that way later in the year.
