As for position battles we have alot of think about between now and opening day. 5th starter is still up for grabs right now (two of the 3 guys pitched well) and the final infield spot as well.

Talley looked sharp in his one start. Oshman seemed fine also.

Our Intl RP signee "Red" looks like a beast thus far.

Nakashima back. It's a sentimental signing. Wish I just would have offered 10m/yr to funclown's kid.

Started 0-3 before going 7-2 in last 9. Regulars getting AB's, couple position battles going on for final roster spots. Fred Schubert's bubble wrap has arrived and we've got him tied up pretty nicely in there so hopefully we can get 500 ABs from him this year. Team wise 18 dingers in 12 games, that's about what I had hoped.

Ethan Bafford picks up right where he left off, first half of ST he's sitting at a .379/.438/.828/1.265 slash and 4 homers/9 RBI thus far. Hopefully he's pissed about being passed over last year and drops a 10 WAR-burger (see what I did there )

The good news is that it's definitely not 7 months too early to be excited about a hot two week stretch or anything...

I offered him about the same $ and years as you. Maybe 100 or 200k more/yr. Should have gone deeper!

Nakashima will round out the pen nicely though, and hopefully retire a Slammer. I'm happy with the back end - RJ Green (if he's not injured for awhile), Manny Gomez, Chris FLores, and then Nakashima. Solid group.

I'm saying I have alot of "fragile" guys and the league injuries were at the min. Never happens two spring training sims in a row. Thats what I'm saying.
