Damn OF Terry Mast retired after not receiving a contract. I've wanted to bring him on and create the bash brothers with Dunn but it's a pipe dream now.

This is why we need the Micro Brew Independent League!

If I had a DH spot, he would have been in DC.

Excited to see where former Bat Tyler McLouth will end up. According to the Off-Season center page Dallas, Los Alamos, Maine and Windy City have expressed interest.

Pistol Eron Deleon announced his retirement. Never a great defensive backstop, but one hell of an offensive catcher. Cheers, Pistol.

He was a great Tob. Was happy to have him in Los Lunas for a little bit.

The era of super offensive catchers is beginning to close. Remember when there were so many?

Pistol was a beast. I remember wondering if Liquid was going to draft him first overall, so I could get Gaston. Worked out for both of us.

A throw-in to to make the salaries work in the Washington-Los Angeles Travis DuFour deal of 2007, "Pistol" went on a tear in that half season in DC. It was only 68 games but his .900 OPS was the third best mark of his career.

I guess I've been here long enough to know some of these retirements.
