Well had a feeling that was going 7. As good as Stroble was in the regular season he seems to be scared of the bright lights. Might have to put Oshman back in for Diesel. Great series UMD, we are fortunate to still be alive.

Denver versus LA. Cool matchup, but I can't help but wonder if we are leading to a Brewmaster rematch. I need to spend sometime looking at the next round matchups.

Great season Z, just seems LA is continues to be a poor matchup for ya.

IL.......Pat spoils everything. I think WC is favored but who knows with the wizard at the helm.

OMG...I simply cannot believe what I just read through in the game logs.

Pittsburgh threw the bus at us. My pitching wasn't great in the regular season but this was a new level of low. The Millers abused every single one of my pitchers. But somehow, my guys turned the ninth into their inning.

What a series, Mike. I'm sure we will run into each other again.


edit: Actually, looking over it now, Melgoza and Gaxiola pitched really well in games 6 and 7. Melgoza went 9 innings for a complete game. And Gaxiola surrendered just 2 runs in 6.2 IP. I planned it so Gaxiola would go game 7. Just felt he would handle it well. He did.

We got lucky to survive.

Just couldn't get it done.

Our starting pitching, which was by far the best in the league this season, just wasn't quite where they needed to be.

The offense was erratic throughout the series.

Call it luck, call it LA getting it done and us not, whatever. Season's over. All I can do now is try to get better over the winter.

I don't know if this series was the last we see of Al Hamilton, Zak Gaston, and Lucca Memmoli in the BLB. Good luck to them too with whatever comes next.

Made a few tweaks for the ILCS. I feel like I'm the underdog but we have momentum and rest on our side.

Good luck to Jistic and his Playboys. Arguably the biggest rivalry in all of the BLB meets yet again in the ILCS. These two teams have represented the IL in the Brewmaster's 12 times, and 13th this year. When you take away the Virginia appearances, Windy City or Washington has been the IL Champ 13 times and someone else 10 times.
