Domestic League
LA vs MAI
This is a tough one. Dinos have played very well and it's an interesting match-up of 2 solid staffs and powerful line-ups.
I'll take Z and Maine over the defending champs in 7.
PIT vs DEN
PIT has the much better rotation and an impressive line-up with rookie Bafford added to the Millers veterans. Carlos has one of the best line-ups we've seen in years, loaded top to bottom with young talent and grizzled veterans.
I like pitching in the playoffs, so it's Pittsburgh in 7.
Import League
DVS vs CHI
Squid's prediction of Jistic's demise was a bit premature. This Windy City team is just as good as the one's that have beaten better Vegas teams. Especially since DVS isn't even a .500 team since the AS break.
Windy City in 5, DVS can't score.
WAS vs BAT
This is the match-up Pat wanted with Aten-Salzman-Duffy leading his lefty only playoff rotation. I'm guessing Ian Fain will get the lone righty start here, against a Batavia team that is just 23-24 vs lefties. The Muckdog rotation and line-up has cruised all season and is Top 3 in both hitting and pitching and makes them heavy favorites despite Pat's ability to hide his weaknesses and exploit the weaknesses of other teams.
Matt upends Pat in 6, despite lots of strategery - yes, it's not a word.
