I haven't had success against either BAT or CHI recently, so neither match-up was really "better" for us. I went with Hanback in his last game of the season and preserved/rested my possible 5 man rotation for playing Jistic.
Congrats on the division title, Pat. You tricked everyone into thinking you were competing to lower expectations, but I saw through it the whole time.
I do think I match-up better against Batavia than I do Windy City. Neither is a "good" match-up for us but I'm hoping to get a few lucky dice rolls and maybe, just maybe, Death Valley can upset Windy City and it will be an All-Stout ILCS, where I now would have home field advantage.
In all honesty, I could see my team getting swept just as much as I could see us sneaking out a series win in six or seven games. Batavia is about as hot as we are right now, rested and injury free. I'm dinged up with injuries, I had to throw my "ace" (Aten) on game #162 and my #3 (Salzman) on game #163 and I just think even when healthy and rested, are a much weaker team.
Good luck to all the playoff teams. Very exciting season that hopefully continues into the post.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
