A big 5-2 week including a win to close out the Pittsburgh series ties us atop the Ale once again. Travis Fisher threw a four-hit shutout to assure us a win in the Pittsburgh finale.

7-0 sim with a 4 - game sweep of Indianapolis and a tough 3 - game sweep over Los Angeles.

Next we have a 3 - game set on the road against New Orleans and then a big 3 - game series in Pittsburgh.

We have won 8 straight and tie Maine and Pittsburgh for best record in the DL.

The playoffs become more real for the Denver fans.

After a 7-0 week over Morgantown and Davenport, the Washington Bats are 11-1 in September. This is a month after going 11-17 in August! Now in 1st place in the Stout for the first time since May with a two game lead over Death Valley.

It's just bad sim after bad sim for us lately. There isn't much more tweaking I can do, because everything I try doesn't seem to work. Just gonna ride it out, but I think we're probably going to keep fading and miss the playoffs.

He's been a bright spot. We just aren't winning any games the last 2 months. No one seems to want to hit and everyone is cold for the longest I've ever seen since I started this game. It's pretty bad to watch.

                That's the rub.

He's cursing the rest of the team since he was acquired.

                  Pawtucket 3-3 . Cool.

C-Dave P and LF-Tommy VL getting a BLB taste right notw be it in a limited role .

                  The race DL:

Love the Ale race. Should come down to the final weekend. Both will make the playoffs regardless.

The Dino's are doing a new concept called "Divsional tanking"- attempting to win a division while playing bad enough to land a top 14 draft pick. Good strategy if your in a bad division. I'm on to your game Jimmy.

Denver has the Pilsner wrapped. Dallas would be up in the Lager by 12 games if this makes them feel any better.

                  The IL race:

                  Two races worth noting.

Stout- hmmmm yeah this is shocking. Death Valley can't hit plain and simple. No explanation for the hitting. On paper this team is better then Washington, but I guess this is why we don't hit the "sim season" button.

Wildcard- I think we get a one game playoff here. Carolina hasn't taken they're spot on top of this pile yet. Be funny to see them take the final week.

This is some really awesome stuff (sorry UMD). Sometimes unlikely stuff just happens. We had a 21 inning game between Batavia and Baltimore and Chiba went 0-9 while Alvarez went 1-9leaving a combined 12 runners on base. That's just an unlikely stuff right there between those two guys. I did not expect to see this when I got up this morning(washington being in first place).

I do feel good that I'm still only 2 games out and I have to play Carolina and Davenport next week.

I love being in first...but you're right, the IL Playoffs are far from decided.

Like I said, I've always been pretty good at tweaking stuff to stop a slide, but I'm completely unable to fix this. My players just don't want to play to their career averages or ratings this season. Maybe this group needs a breakup?

I guess I could just go really young in the lineup next season.

I thought the usually monthly change would help, but we got worse.

It's definitely going to be a tight run to the finish. Not sure the schedule is in our favor either. This season has been one of the more interesting in years.

I'm experiencing that with Pat Ladd. Sometimes, players just have down years.
