Commish idea...1 day sim late tonight. Then still SIM Wed and Sat.

Any legit objections? If not lets do it.

Yes. Unless you plan on promoting Seeker and/or Villarreal. Then no. J/K. I'm all for it.

I think with the Waiver issue we'll just wait for Wed and miss out on a few days.

I better see lots of Waiver trades!

Glad August is over, that was a shitty month. We extended Savard and get Turney back. I really wish Jones or Cash would pick it up. May have to trade Lindsey for a bat this offseason.

Rookie catcher Joham Baiano goes 20/48 with 5 doubles, 3 home runs and 16 RBI in the month of August. I have mentioned this kid a couple of times this year because he just doesn't seem to be slowing down. I'm thinking its the fact that he usually only gets to play against struggling opponents. But nonetheless, he produces when giving the chance.

Now I had a kid like this a long time ago, Coy McPherson, who played very well despite not having the ratings to match his performance. He only had that one good year but again, I love to see guys like this even if he's not the real deal and just a one-hit wonder. Baiano is helping keep us in the playoff hunt which is good enough for me.

LH hitter + Phillips Field + RHP = success

Makes me want to change my ballpark.

If only he wasn't hitting .347 on the road.

Pawtucket 2-4. Up and down we go. Least we are on pace for our very first profitable season in a longtime.

Random note: That Lager race is something awful.

The funny thing is that one of them is likely to upset Maine or Pitt.

Well avoid getting the 1st seed. DL #1 seeds are 0 for this decade last check. IL finally got one (Batavia)

                        I guess I'm confused. OPS'ing .889 is a bad thing?

He only has 3 walks total. Good try though.

Of course not...that would be higher than anyone on my team!

I'm just saying that if you plug in an average LH hitter in your lineup, play him at home and against RHP, he's going to hit well.

Pat, as a team Baltimore hits .264 on the road. That is top 6 in the entire BLB (without a DH) and would STILL be the best average in the IL. It is more than just the park.
