      Love him.

      I like to think I was the one who "found" him, someone extracting him from Davenport for Jose Llombart in 1988.

      If I had stayed in Pittsburgh, I never would have let him go.

        Wilton Harcourt made it to nine All-Star games and didn't make the Hall. That's gotta suck.

          That's a great call. He will go down as one of the best infielders the game has ever seen....but won't be in the Hall.

            I was looking at some of the names that have that many All-Stars (current and past) and he's probably the only one who's not going to make it.

            I think we are way too tough on infielders.

              I've always wondered if the Virginian years skewed our view of what Hall of Fame numbers should be.
