Adan Neubauer has 19 wins and 200 strikeouts — and we're not even halfway through August.

He got a ratings bump in the middle of his career that flipped a switch if you look at OSA.

A 6-1 week. Finished our 4-game set with Maine, splitting that series. Then we swept New Orleans and New York.

An amazing offensive week. The overall team effort is impressive. Pitching was so-so. Our bullpen looked really bad this week and the starters weren't exactly that great. Needed our bats and they came through more than I expect in the course of a week.

Our Little Rock Travelers finally lost a game after winning 29-straight ballgames. That's significant because it moved them down to 2nd in the A ball Power Rankings which is unfortunate because my BLB, AAA and AA clubs are each first in the Power Rankings. Would have been sweet to see every one of my clubs leading the pack.

The fact that he was so close to being a Washington Bat makes his success so hard to take. But good for you man, he's a become an ace.

                ---

This IL Wild Card race is getting crazy. I'm 2.5 up on Baltimore, 3 up on Carolina and Davenport...but really don't feel that confident. My rotation now ranks 10/12 in the IL in ERA. That's not going to be good enough.

Your Triple-A team is twice as old as your BLB club.

Are we sure about that though?

This game makes me wonder sometimes.

Neubauer was drafted with OSA reporting 7/5/5 potential.

                    He is now 8/5/5.

There was a lot of movement in his OSA ratings in between, yes, but maybe that movement was incorrect.

What if he's always been 7/5/5 or better?

                    Food for thought.

I don't know about twice as old, but there are some older guys in there. I know.

Don't take it the wrong way...I approve that strategy.

Oh, I didn't. I learned it from watching you.

And it just makes sense to have a veteran waiting to step in if someone gets hurt on your BLB roster.

When your in "win now" mode its always effective having a decent AAAA club. Bailed my team out a couple of seasons.

When your rebuilding doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
