3-3 week on the road in the Ale. 11-9 now. Will take it with all these road games so far.

Steve Suarez signed a three-year, $34.5 million extension to stay in Maine. Glad to get it done early in the year and not have it hanging over everyone's heads.

Tristan Romarigues is a little banged up but we'll be okay. Pat Bryant's sore shoulder this early in the year is more concerning.

Jistic, my condolences on Mason's passing.

Eww a bad week everywhere. We didn't hit or pitch. Toronto dismantled us and is playing amazingly well.

Did take 2 of 3 from the Dinos so that's a positive despite how poorly we played.

Really beginning to think that CJ Wilkinson is the ratings balance victim on my team. A 7 contact guy with great averages in the minors and he can't hit a lick in the pros so far.

I mean...the guy was playing for LSU this time two years ago....give him some time, JJ.

The luck of Matt's baby! 6-0.

The legend of TJ Dunn grows. Batting .400 with 5 HRs in the last 7 games. His hitting is contagious with Culler, Matsui, Sherrod all delivering solid at-bats too.

            Washington Bats - 13-5, 1st Place in Stout; 5-1 Week: 3-0 @ SEA, 2-1 @ MOR

The Good: Cacher Diego Flores hit 45 RBI in 125 games for the Playboys last year. Through 17 games this year, Flores has hit 20. The former 2nd round pick and Top 50 Prospect was never given a full starter at bats in Baltimore or Windy City. The 28-year-old was signed for $26M this off-season and is proving his worth.

If you are looking for early Refreshing New Brew candidates in the IL, Washington has two: 1) OF DJ Nelson is on pace for 45 doubles, 18 homeruns, 117 RBI and .861 OPS. 2) SP Tyler Salzman is on pace for 18-0, 1.42 ERA and .89 WHIP. I highly doubt either reaches those heights but the rookies have been a huge boost to a veteran-heavy team.

The Bad: 1B Tyler McLouth's hitting streak ended at 21 games, currently best in the BLB.

The Ugly: Team Stolen Bases: 7, Team Caught Stealing: 9. Terrible.

Next Week: Stout Week Continues! The Bats face the Stout rival Scorpions for four games in Death Valley. With a 4 game lead already, Washington could really take control of the division with a big series. Then the Bats head home for three against (9-11) Indy.

First winning sim. 4-2. Big 4 game set vs the Bats coming up. Hopefully we can close this early 4 game gap a bit. We started slow last season as well, so hopefully we pick it up in May. Though, if I remember it right, we didn't start putting it together until July last season.

No Cash has slowed the offense a bit. Lindsey, English, Brummett and Boutin give up just 1 ER this week.

Minor League system climbs back into the Top 5. Travis Anthony, Tony Garza and Dave Richardson all looking good in AAA.

Toronto and Philly are definitely the big surprises coming out of April.

First Ale run Pawtucket goes 5-2 taking Maine and Pitt. Threatening to finish the month at .500 which would be a huge accomplishment considering how historically bad we are in April

Starting pitchers Wences and Andujar have been pretty dam good so far and rookie RF Morales seems unfazed by our odd staduim. In fact he gets the odd road / home split award this month

                  http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_8192.html

Acquiring CF- Tony C we took a hit in our minor league system, but we still hold the number one system in baseball.

                  Minor watch:
Relax Dave Piekarski!!!!! Your time will come. Not even sure where to stick him right now.

We don't expect to be world beaters this season, but like our direction. This is where the 1-5 sim and Talley gets hit with a 9 month injury comes in.

Man, 6-1 week. We haven't seen anything like that around these parts for some time now. That probably means a crash next week, but for now we'll take it. Heavy investment in the bullpen this offseason seems to be paying off.

Jimmy Rosema was a late bloomer. Suffered a couple years in the BLB before coming into his own.

I think you guys misunderstand me. I'm more than patient with these guys. Look at Melgoza.

I just have this feeling that OOTP purposely limits how effective a team is by choosing a player to roll bad dices with to maintain some semblance of balance.

I'm not worried about Wilkinson. I'm just sure he's the victim of OOTP code.

Wilkerson is going to be fine. Growing pains. Takes awhile for those experience pts to roll in. We're trying to mix in some vets right now.
