Is this the worst draft class ever?

One thing I will highly recommend everyone to look at more than just your scouts projection. Remember to look at OSA and more importantly, the stats. For example, I won't name names, but there is a player my scout says "save your time and money and look elsewhere"...yet statistically, he looks like he might be one of the best players at his position.

Be amazed at how much I look at OSA now with this version. Remember OOTP 14 did say "more accurate OSA scouting" Stats I generally look more for trends in a the up direction. The stats can get way overblown.

I can name my top 5 players right now. Shockingly two are hitters , but then 3 pitchers.

There's actually a few that fit that criteria.

              OSA is full of lies.

But I've always compared my scout with theirs and try to use stats to decide who is closer to right.

I had to do a double take at this draft class. My scout thinks it's terrible. No wonder I trade my draft picks every year. Except for this year of course, I have my 1st rounder.

It seems like there a whole lot of guys who never got a chance to play in HS or college.

The lack of INTL's the past few years is concerning. Something isn't right.

Good case study for what you said. I don't mind sharing sometimes since we have a ton a new owners:

                        http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_7295.html

OK, OSA has this kid at 5-5-6-6-5, yet my scout has him as a (3) it just bumped from a 2!! 5-8-5-7. WTF??

Next I did into the verbage and overall my guy thinks he's going to be a winner, yet his contact is of course bleak. Finally I look into his stats. I know its high school , but the kid is betting .372, already hit 9 homeruns and his walks to strike outs are a respectable 15/21.

This reminds me OOTP 8 or some lower version. I'm not sure how much we can trust our scouts right now. Need to do some serious homework this go around.

Lol . My scout about one of the draft pool. Simply hopeless at the plate. Probably wont hit more than .290.
Really when did .290 become hopeless
