Damn. That's huge. I'll edit my preview, though I don't think it changes too much until the playoffs...if he's healthy long enough to make it.

We sign Batavia C Taylor Turney to a one year deal. This was the one FA we targeted this offseason and I'm excited to add him to the hole we have at C. He's the perfect mix of AVG/OBP I was looking for in the #2 spot in the order. He's a nice upgrade to Danny Torres who got on base, but never really hit for average.

We will rotate Al Hamilton, Zak Gaston, and Lucca Memmoli in and out of the lineup at the first base and DH spots. None of them will play the outfield. Hopefully it's enough to keep them fresh and healthy.

We're going to suck... but it's going to be a lot less suck than 2008.

Looking to lead the league in steals as a team and play much better defense as well as bring down that massive BABIP we had last year.

Look for a big year out of Dave Dunham if he can stay healthy.

Have some tough decisions to make now.

Pawtucket preseason 76-86. Hmmmm. Also if OF I. morales can put up those predicted rookie numbers that alone would make this season a success.

Spear, on an earlier subject about prospects....

Pitt- Shane Carroll never once officially pitched a winning season!!! Wow, what bomb and he's still getting paid!!! Also goes to show signing young promising players doesn't always pay off.

That's the best part of the game! Also the scariest. Carroll isn't that bad, I'd take him in my rotation over the crap I have. But definitely a disappointment for a 2nd overall draft pick.

I thought Pat Danford was going to be the next big thing when I drafted him. He was okay but not nearly the player I had envisioned.
