It boggles my mind that Hamilton isn't signed yet, especially with a DL team.

Ok, forget his numbers in Baltimore. He was a beast in arguably the most "pitcher friendly" park in the DL in New York a few years back. There's a chance that he drops off the face of the earth but I doubt it.

But Gerard was signed for two years. Maybe Hamilton is turning down those two year offers.

In the category for no one cares but me, but I was surprised to see that we never have had a Last Call, Pale Ale or Stout Slugger (and only 1 New Brew winner) in 32 years in Baltimore.

Looks like 1991. New Brew is pretty tough to control.

                      Good times.

Pawtucket fills the #5 spot with SP/MR- Alex Martinez. Not sure how much Alex has left in the tank, but worst case he settles into the bullpen later this season. Wasn't expensive. We did try to trade for some more pitching this past offseason, but not at the expense of giving up our future (Incase UMD thinks we are tanking)

Kind of surprised 3B Colin Anderson was still there for that cheap so we really couldnt pass him up. Stats wise he sucks, but think he ends up being a good fit for out stadium. This probably puts IF Travis Zuk into the 4th IF spot, but willing to ride whoever gets hot as the season progresses.

We all know you're done tanking for about 7 years. I knew you were done when you traded me your 2011 1st rounder. Tank away if I'm wrong.

Ironically Pawtucket has never won a New Brew award which is shocking considering some of the talent then ran thru the system past couple of decades.

Hamilton turned down an offer from us. I think it was 2 years at $19M each.
