Man, Joe Aurillo was special. 22-1 with a 1.50 ERA as a 23 year old. 19-7 with a 1.73 ERA and 280 K the next year.

    Ridiculous pitcher.

Then he blew out his arm the next year and was good but not as good.

Then I left, and Brad traded him. After a couple good years in Syracuse, he was basically done at age 31.

    Too bad.

Rex Morgan (2) and Jimmy Jones (3) are the only 2 players to win Stout Slugger in both leagues.

Has anyone done it for other awards?

Also Brad and I talked and we have edited the contract for English to $6.785m.

I should have done a better job monitoring, that's my fault. As far as UMD doing anything malicious we all know that wasn't the case. Same with Jistic. He played within the rules of the time and did as many of us did.

Let's move on to the next controversy! The Rule 5 draft! I do think that has been tamed as well though since we allow an export now.

So I guess the next issue will be who signs the prized FA to a 3rd year Team Option that's double the first 2 years.

Also I updated the Pale Ale and Slugger Award history in the Award forum. Looking at the IL kinda cracks me up. The FBI would call that a clue.

Geez. Well that was a clue to go along with his 2 velocity decreases followed by 2 curious bounce backs. Lol, don't get me started. He was always my lightning rod.

Funny I was just talking about Aurillo with FC last week. He's the pitching coach on my A team right now.

It's actually the old University of Calgary Dinos logo. They have since updated their logo (maybe LA should too?)

Let's get this straight. Calgary updated it because they couldn't compete with the Dinos fanbase.

I can't offer anything to FAs. Says my owner doesn't approve but I'm showing projected budget room of about 7 million. Any ideas?
