Glad I was able to manage the ship into the playoffs!
Lineup is all set, Bafford and Schubert hopefully can get hot and help lead the team into a very tough series with LA. They have an excellent team and it should be a fun series!
Gonna be a dogfight but hopefully the boys are ready for battle!
Best of Luck!

Just a heads up to all playoff participants (and interested non-participants):
I won't have internet service at my new house until some time Wed of this week. What does this mean? It means any SIM for the first rd will probably be done in the evening from a coffee house. So, SIM 1 of the playoffs is likely to run Tuesday evening, though files are still due at the normal time just in case a window opens up earlier in the day.Philly Freedom

Well, here we go. The certain end of an era, a near decade of winning ball, about to implode due to age and finances. The proper, long term, keep your job in real life, and most of all obvious move would have been to move some, if not all, of these vets this year, for picks, for prospects; but, nostalgia, a last chance, lowball offers, and life got in the way, so we kept the band together for one last, likely mediocre shot.
So, after 8 straight winning seasons and 7 out of 8 years in the playoffs, we likely lose our entire core of guys who have been here about the whole time: player options surely to be declined for C Ruben Luna(starting catcher since 2000), MR JJ Ballos(best reliever you don't think of, here since 99), CL Gargoyle Nakashima (IM(biased)O the best reliever in league history, here since 96), SP Robby Aten (the first ace we ever drafted, here since '02), and SP Vinny Dugan (unheralded but solid, a contributing back end guy since 2000).
Gone to free agency are Tyler Gerard (still with the clown stink on him), Antonio Torres (stone hands in the field but probably one of my better value picks ever, here since 96), and Gong-Sun Tsai (hardly part of the core, but around enough to matter, here since 2000).
Tons of talent, and at least some value, likely all departing with zero compensation, after collecting paychecks that drove us into the red, still here, for one last chance.
And, we get Maine in round 1, who demolished us in the same round last year and they're better this year while we're a year older. Our only chance is me writing a sappy article about lifelong friendships formed in the early innings of daygames out in the bullpen, but I don't think I have time.
Good luck Z.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
