5-2 and we are in a very good position to win our 10th division title and 5th 100 win season in team history. I'm very impressed with Taylor's 2nd half of the season. He's really looking like a guy who consistently plays better later in the season.

We played our last home games of the season and reached 2.8 MM in attendance. To demonstrate how long it has been since that many fans attended a season of games in Denver, that is the highest attendance mark at Rocky Top since 1991 (the last year of four consecutive years with a minimum of 2.9 MM fans - and the last time we were in the playoffs and over .500). It's already the seventh highest attendance in franchise history.

Obviously, depending on the playoffs and if we make it, it will increase.

The type of week we need against Syracuse and Dallas will require we get to 90 wins at the minimum.

We are 3 back of Syracuse who plays us twice and then has a four-game set with Indianapolis (who surprised us by taking 3 of 4 in this past sim). Syracuse has a magic number of 4. We are projected to face Tyler Gerard and Jody Richards who each lost their last pitched games against Denver by giving up 4 and 6 runs respectively.

Meanwhile Hoffman gave up 2 runs in 8 innings in his last start against the Slammers. But he's followed by Melgoza who surrendered 5 runs in just over 6 innings pitched.

After that there's Dallas. Somehow we are a big 13-4 against them in 2007. I don't even quite understand how because they have three of the best starters in the league. Of course, Water finds its LevelŪ and it will probably shore up in the most important series of my season.

On my side is Cleveland and Maine. Pittsburgh is 11-6 against Cleveland but maybe there's extra oopmh there now that they have someone taking care of the team. Of course, Maine has steamrolled through the entire DL so that four game set could be to my benefit.

1.5 games to make up in the Wild Card. 7 games left for Pittsburgh. 6 games for Denver.

Let's run the sim now. It's the only race left!

Correction: a handful of Denver fans have waited this long. Everyone else just jumped on the wagon.

Never even crossed my mind until now.

I have considered the possibility of winning the in-game award because I know it weighs wins vs. Payroll.

I like how the game generated a news story immediately after he broke the record. And then neglected to acknowledge he hit another home run in that game.
