Oh well, we are done. I'm going to look at three young SPs in the last two months of the season. Hopefully they do well enough to give me confidence for 2009. I'm 10 games worse than Windy City since August 1. that is some Oakland A's shit.

4-2 sim. No injuries. Fernando Hernandez threw 7 shutout innings in his return from injury. Jake took one series from us, so kudos to him, though we've been selectively resting some guys.

We broke the 100-win mark. It's the first 100-win season of my BLB tenure.

73-76 after a 2-4 week vs. Batavia and Davenport. The chance of being a .500 team is slipping away.

I believe it's the first time you have broke the 100-win mark with any of your three teams. Philly has never done it. Pitt has done it three times, twice with JJ and once last year. This is the first 100+ win season in Maine since 1989.

          Congrats!

Which four guys do I start in the postseason? My #5 starter leads the league in strikeouts and has a 3.01 ERA. I don't know.

Maybe the 17-6 Tom Hau is the odd man out?

I feel like this is a wasted season for the Snappers. Rosema has become a star. Arce is having an amazing season that should win the Pale Ale. Reeves and Skinner are both in the top 20. Jobe and Cardenas have performed well. Gamboa gave us more than I expected.

We are thin in the Minors so we may have to move a big name or two. I'm torn as to which direction we should take. Villarroel has been great and looks like he could be a big contributor in the future, but that's about all we have.

Haven't looked at much but the overall result.

A 5-1 week. Denver is officially finishing over .500.

Now 2 back of Syracuse in the Pilsner. But tied for the wild card lead with the same Millers we have a three game set with up next.

I've been keeping a close eye. At -9 Pythagorean Record, you are by far the most unlucky team in the BLB so far. Also, on the road you are 33-41, by far the worst of any .500 or better club.

There is still a chance...you sit six games back of the wild card. If you have two really good weeks in a row, it's possible you still sneak in. Those final four games against Denver could be huge.

Congratulations. Even if you don't sneak into the playoffs it has been a great year in Denver.

I just saw this...did Hernandez turn to "Fragile" this sim? That's a lot of money for a fragile arm...I have noticed a few "stars" switching to fragile recently. Pat Ladd being one of them,..

Not sure if it was posted but Maine's Davilla hit 2 grand slams and drove in 10 runs on 9/5.

Davila is an animal. Hits .300 with 35 HR and 120 RBI while catching.

Very realistic chance at 110 wins. Huge accomplishments and......puts a little pressure on you. Anything less then a championship and it might feel like a failure.

Maine is the clear favorite. Anything less than a Brewmaster's Championship should be considered a failure.

We have the #1 offense, #1 pitching, and #1 defense in the league. We should get it done but the postseason is a different beast.
