Oto came off the DL with a fine showing. Questions to the Guru's. He was out 8-9 weeks with a sprained ankle. He is still listed as durable (whew). So the question is do all injuries figure into their injury ratings or are they in different categories of severity? In realtime some injuries would have a cumulative effect over time.

I'm pretty sure every injury changes your injury ratings. Obviously a severe injury will have a bigger impact.

I think this is where the trainer comes in. He can minimize it if he's legendary at say an arm or back, ect. People confuse this alot with injury proneness which your trainer has nothing to do with.

I worry more about injuries when a kid is developing. Not so much teenagers, but when they around 22+ and they are at the critical stage of development. Doesn't always ruin them, but could lose some POT and depending on the injury might miss valuable at bats which is so big for they're development.

I prefer a kid gets injured at seasons end when development is at a min.

Makes you feel any better though take this kid into consideration, he's doing quite well despite a rough injury history:

Different categories. Overall, arm, back, leg. 1-200 with 1 being next to no chance. Every time your player is hurt more than a certain length of days the number goes up. I think overall determines rating (Iron Man to Fragile). Guys can move up though so not sure if overall gets better over time with no injuries.

I thought this start would of killed him, but sometimes you need a lucky dice roll. Its what makes this game fun. Really throws alot of "special cases" at ya.
