He isn't official until he posts. We need to decide if he's worthy.

3-3 sim against Cleveland and Maine. A little surprising to see this squad still putting up .500 weeks.

To All Contenders! Those players I was trying to get ham sandwiches for are now all on waivers. They won't be post-season eligible but they could give you some depth down the stretch run and save my owner a couple thousand dollars. Just FYI.

Rosters Expand! Time for contenders to call up depth guys and non-contenders to call up youngsters to see what they got. I will be making a few big call ups (more in the debut thread) myself this sim.

Good luck in the stretch run.

4-2 week, yet Batavia still shaved another game off the lead.

It wouldn't be Porter race if it wasn't close down the stretch.

A 4-2 week after we lost 2 of 3 to Baltimore but swept California.

Surprised to see Perkins in the batting race. He was 10 points behind the leader before this week. A .600 batting average over 7 days will do that for you.

Our Little Rock Travelers won their second A ball championship in three years.

But my Oklahoma City 89'ers came up short, losing in extras in the AA Championship Game.

Just noticed Morgantown slugger Hector Feliciano re-signed for four more years. I'm equally excited as I am saddened. I really didn't want to see such a great player leave a struggling franchise...but he easily my #1 Free-Agent target had he bolted.

Signed pretty cheaply, too. I'm sure in Free-Agency he would have made double that.

Back in first. Went 20-8 in August. This slugfest gets better this week with 4 @ Carolina.

Also resigned Fernando Ortiz this week for 4 more years. He comes off the DL next week.

Robles wins POTW honors. Nice of him to join us this year. We've been hot since May but gotta keep it going. This is going down to the wire.

Porter isn't over yet. 6 games, 4 weeks. We've blown way bigger leads than this.

I was on the phone with Mike the last hour getting him set up and showing him the ropes. He's got the file loaded, got all the images, and is hard at work getting his team together.

I believe Ethan Bafford is making his debut this sim.

                        Mike already exported.

Bafford's going to be an amazing hitter in that park. Easily the favorite for DL Refreshing New Brew.

I agree. Dude is a beast.

In Maine news, longtime Guide second baseman Danny Lebron, who spent most of this year at AAA Portsmouth after signing a minor league contract to rejoin the organization in late April, has received the call to join the Guides in September.
