But isn't that the goal to make that big "jump" or is this soccer and getting a tie pretty dam good?

This is definitely not a soccer league because organizations that purposefully tank in professional soccer leagues get demoted.

But yes, the point is to win it all and I have no hesitation to make moves (evidenced by my lack of first round picks over the years) but it has to be at the right price. Otherwise I might be stuck with a long term rebuild.

Keep an eye to the waiver wire the next few sims! With the rookies being added a lot of teams are having to make tough decisions on who to cut to make room. Some of these roster casualties will be found on the waiver wire during the next few sims so take advantage.

With the Marshburn trade, I'm not realistically contending anymore so we actually waived a good handful of rental-type fill-in players. Feel free to take a look next sim. There are a lot of depth guys that a contender can add for a few bucks.
