As expected the top prospect pitching had a major shakeup. Lol, only ONE hitter debuted in the top 50 that I can see (Leger)

Probably a first in Pawtucket history with 7 pitchers now on the top prospect list. Then again that can equate to 2 long relief pitchers and 5 back end starters.

We are stumbling. This is what happened to us last year before we fell completely out of a the race. Started hot and cooled off in June.

Hoping with a better roster this year that will change. Wilkinson and Eckstein are coming up. Melgoza will be back to strengthen the pen.

Some things will change for sure.

Great week for us. 6-0. I wish we could play the DL every week. So far we were swept by the mighty Pawtucket, but have gone 18-1 against the rest of that league, including four sweeps.

We're slowly creeping back into things.

Also had two prospects debut in the top 50. Can't really complain too much.

Agreed. No need to concentrate on the Stout. Time to start eyeing the BIG prize.

Not seeing anyone really standing out. Alot of really good teams fighting for it right now. I know Maine has the best record and are rolling along, but we know come playoff time these records are basically thrown out the window.

I know what I need for us to be a true contender, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay the costs associated with the jump.

But isn't that the goal to make that big "jump" or is this soccer and getting a tie pretty dam good?

Not if you believe being patient would yield a big jump for a longer period of time than making the push for right now and right now only.
