Got swept in Syracuse...then took 2/3 in Davenport.

Catcher Dave "Champ" D'Orio has completely forgot how to hit. After coming over from Syracuse in 2006 he OPS'd .832. Last year, .634. This year, .552 and now he expects bench for the first time. He's 28.

I'm really impressed with the way we've played in spite of a few injuries.

5-1 Best week in a long time.

Wade Brown made his 2nd and 3rd career starts. Going 8 innings in each game and allowing only one run in each game to pick up a couple of victories. Hopefully he is who we thought he was.

Willie Rosales is driving the ball nicely as late and may become the dominate bat he has been at every level.

Tom Pollitt has turned into a very good player.

Back and forth we go. Team has no identity but I guess I should expect that from youth.

Growing pains. Trending in the right direction by seasons end.

Pawtucket 2-4. That road record is really impressive.

Lot of interesting AAA hitting right now:

C Dave Piekarski debuted and hit .368 with 2 homeruns.
1B Tom Smith last years second round pick .366. What's the deal with this guy?? He's tracking so dam fast he it's just unexpected.
SS Travis Zuk batting .326 OPSing .826. I just don't know yet if he's ready for SS.

Probably won't see Dave this season, but Tom & Travis should be up by June. Yes, we need pitching in the worst way.

Got our asses handed to us by LA then split with Batavia. Looks like another year of inconsistent play.

                        Saw Hamilton went down too...

But still passed Pat Ladd on the Top Players list.

Yea. His .470 OBP is ridiculous. Definitely going to miss that.
