    3-4 is better than nothing.

Tough to split a four game set with the first place Dinos, only to then lose 2 of 3 to Toronto. Nothing against them, but if we want to be a better squad, we should be winning those games.

At 11-9, we sit a half game back of Syracuse with a three-game set coming up. Then it's Washington.

Verba has been MIA thus far but I know he has it in him to come back. Perkins continues to hit and play exceptional defense. Tom Cole finally hit the ball into the gaps with his first 5 extra base hits of the year.

The pitching is about where I expect and I do expect it will improve as the season progresses. Right now, Tamieke and Hoffman are the absolute real deal. Garcia is better than I expected which makes it okay for me to see the others struggle a bit here and there though Kisselburg finally woke up with an impressive outing.

In the minors, neither the AA or A ball teams took a loss. One is 11-2, the other is 12-1. AAA is under .500 but I expect that will improve once Wilkinson and Eckstein get going.

This upcoming sim for the Denver club is important. We either continue to be a below average team and fall under .500 or we take some names and tell Syracuse to stop fighting for what belongs to us.

Despondent over how bad my pitching is.

May move Trujillo if things don't look like they'll be better by next year.

The craziest thing about our season so far is that we're 16-4 despite playing 14 of our 20 games on the road. We're usually MUCH better at home.

I had more injuries last year than most. I did get a new trainer. Javy was sucking it up anyway.

I'm gonna work on the draft order tonight. The players should be in to add to your list. Draft goes live Tues for now.

Neal obviously was the best but Campos is #2 in that group and Ladd is the best hitter in baseball.
                      Ok. I'll take the bait.

The best hitter in baseball is NOT Ladd. The best hitter in baseball at this moment is Tom Swanson. After that Oto, Suarez, Feliciano, Caplan and Chiba.....Ladd might be in there somewhere.

                      AND DAMN!!!!

St. Laurent has been in NYK/MIS for 17 seasons. Talk about loyalty from both sides. Love to see it. Too bad that would probably never happen in Baltimore.

Ladd is the best. If he played in Baltimore's park, he would already be enshrined in the HOF.
