    - WATCH YOUR DFA's please! If you trade for someone make sure you have room on the 40 man or I will have to find someone to DFA.
    - Also if you want someone released then release them. I still go by the principle of trying to find room on your roster for DFA players as I do during the season.
    - Please double check all trades.

        Its thru.

Well reset one occurred (other is start of spring training) and though we lost two spots:

C/LF/3B? Dave Piekarski up to #5. Wasn't a flashy pic for a #1, but think he's going to be ok. Won't be shocked if he's in AAA by midseason.

LF Eli Ruiz newcoming and current rule V pick up to #25!! Not sure I agree with that, but hey may have something with this kid. Worst case I guy who seems to know how to draw walks.

LF Tommy Van Leer dropped down to #56 and I 100% agree. Hasn't shown much in two years of minor league ball. Big year for him. Alot of our prospects the light turns on in year 3 so hoping history sort of repeats.

The other ones 'Spanky' I consider a steal for a late second round, but still just a RP and the other SP- Omura is so young it will be years before I know what I got.

Free agency: Signed SS Lorenzo Rojas who hasn't played at the BLB level since 2003. Like his defense. He'll get a shot this year.

$10-$20 left to spend depending on what we stash in PD. Might be a surprise signing or trade coming up.

Ouch. Rescout killed my prospect rankings. Dropped to 13th and had almost every play drop 10+ spots. Hopefully the Spring Training rescout is a little gentler.

D.C. again strike out in Free-Agency with the two major leaguers I offered laughing at my contracts. This could just be another one of those years... I'm leaning towards just taking Carlos' advice and dumping this money in scouting/development and just let this group play it out.

I saw Pittsburgh was trying to get a few players through waivers this past sim...I didn't claim any but Denver, New Orleans and Indy claimed five combined.

Still the #1 system, 14 players in the top 100. I don't think Troy Davis will amount to much though, OSA has him too high.

If I had the money, he would have been my #1.

I got worried when he didn't sign in FA1, because it's a fairly healthy contract we gave him. I thought someone might swoop in and pluck him away.

We also signed Víctor Rivera to a 1 year deal worth $3.6M. He will be in the setup role to Evers.

Solid addition. He's getting up there and not quite the pitcher he once was but it's a good signing.

Couple of seasons ago he was dominant. Might get a half a season from him, but my scout has him dying fast.

Looks like New Orleans missed on what I thought was Pittsburgh "waivers gold", but I did get a couple of waivers scraps!

P Dave Ayers got $650k in arbitration...and then retired a few weeks later.

"Eff the arbitrator!" yelled Ayers, as he rode away on his boat into the sunset.
